The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
-- Our Vision & Hope --
Our vision is that every person who lives in poverty will be shown the love and mercy of God by the local church and all benefactors who provide housing, food, programs, and opportunities that are gateways out of poverty.
Our hope is that residents of every low income, subsidized housing community will be adopted by a caring and generous church, that results in breaking the cycle of poverty that affects the lives of so many children.
Funds raised through the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk will support our programs that help ensure the homeless in Oakville don't go hungry and cold, and for camp sponsorships for low income youth and kids, so they learn the things in life that will keep them from homelessness when they grow up.
Join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the Coldest Night of the Year and together we can make a difference in the lives of those most vulnerable right here in our community.
A leisurely walk through a park and then along sidewalks in a qiuet residential neighbourhood.
